I worked hard and endured the summer to build a good reputation. My efforts paid off, At the end of the summer, my efforts were rewarded when a friend of the captain connected me with an opportunity that changed my trajectory. This position proved to me that there is indeed a silver lining in all things, you just have to work harder sometimes to find it.
