This was a very pivotal position in my career. I gained a good working knowledge of vessels, operations, and crew mgmt., and this post provided the first real opportunity to put my experience to work. The owners and family were active, respectful, and fun people to provide for. Our itineraries were global; we had all the resources needed to perform at the highest levels, and we did. As a crew, we shared many of life's ever-changing moments together. The captain, various crews, and the ownership remain in contact to date. Some of my dearest friendships and others who worked within this special family-based program have formed per our time together.
